All-Con 2006
Went to the All-Con this weekend.

Overall, I had a great time. The weather was beating us down all weekend. It wreaked havok with the hotel, which seemed to be falling apart at the seams! There were so many leaks springing up everywhere that we felt as if the building was submerged in water!! In the dealer/celebrity room, one of the entrances had to be closed off due to a super-large leak. Click here to see the clever ways in which we all dealt with this particular hazard. Man, I shoulda been there (but I was buying my new truck!). It will be great when I'm not in SCHOOL anymore and presumably have time again for such interesting adventures. Glad you had fun!
Yeah, it was great, but you'd have had to get a hotel room, because the trip would have been so long and arduous through the rain, plus you most likely would have been very annoyed by the quality of your hotel room anyway. Word was the plumbing was no good, and there was no hot water.
Who knows where they will hold it next year, but the chances are fairly slim that it will be held in the same hotel.
