Random Work of Fiction (Fiction 1)

Thus begins a series of entries into a short, fictional story.

It has been raining for three days. Rain doesn't come here often, and when it does, it is gone just as quickly. This doesn't have anything to do with what happened recently, because I don't believe in the foolish idea that emotional distress brings rain. I like the rain. Keep the temperature down and throw in a breeze and I'm happy. I'm sitting on my front porch, listening to the rain and watching the trees move. I don't live near anyone, so the experience is much more involving. Clever me, I had bought a CD with nothing but rain sounds. 5 bucks wasted this week. With that in mind, I get up and start walking. The weather is now almost perfect. Rain is dying down, and all that is left is the cool breeze and grey shaded clouds. As much as I love this weather, I can't enjoy it because of the memory currently occupying my mind. What happened? .... I continue to walk. It is getting dark now. I make my way up a small path to the top of the hill. I have an incredible vantage point here. I can see more than a few miles around, but luckily there is no highway or city block in my path. An image of Jackson's Middle Earth comes to mind. I really like those movies, by the way. No hobbit feet for me, I am much too tall for that. But I do feel the need to start a journey...

Gonstead Chiropractic

Perhaps you've heard of Chiropractic care before. I am willing to bet you have not heard of Gonstead. It is a method of Chiropractic named after the man who developed the technique: Dr. Clarence Gonstead. The link on the right of the page will take you to the official website. His story is amazing. Patients who had lost their hearing because of a traumatic accident had their hearing restored; persons who could not walk had regained the ability to walk, the list is quite long. My Father has suffered from severe back pain for some time. He would go to different Chiropractors but would not be relieved of the pain for very long after. He decided to change his career and went to learn at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas. Needless to say he was one of the older students...almost the same age as many of the teachers...anyway, he discovered the Gonstead method and learned all he could about it. He is now a Doctor of Chiropractic and is one of the few Gonstead practitioners in the area. The Gonstead method is much more in depth and corrects the problem more closely. The source of the anomaly is located on the spine, corrected, and left alone. Much of the healing process depends on the nervous system functioning correctly. If a subluxation occurs, the nervous system is impeded and many ailments result. The Gonstead method targets these anomalies and corrects them most efficiently. Your body was designed with an amazing ability to heal itself and Gonstead allows for this with precision. More information can be found here.

Ah, the ravings of a lunatic...

The gentleman responsible for the following website is a Conservative from the Liberal state of Connecticut! My how the gods of fate work. I am not nearly as adamant with my views as he is, but at least he is on the right track! Feel free to post as many erroneous comments to his site as you wish! He welcomes controversial discussion, and thinks Rush Limbaugh is king! He proudly displays his signed photo from Mr. and Mrs. George W. Bush on the wall in his office. He has numerous discussions with our liberal friends within the company. He sits right in front of me, expelling pellets of wisdom. He listens to Sean Hannity on internet radio. You can find his blog here: Espella Humanzee
Dopey name, hunh? Ha! If you notice any comments on this blog site that are removed, they were probably from him. He has quite the commode mouth.

G5: A thing of beauty

The office just got in a new Apple G5 and it is SWEET!

Dual 1.8 GHz G5 processors,
1Gig frontside bus
Immaculate design

Here is a website that has some wonderful pictures of this engineering marvel: http://www.billnoll.com/g5/010/

Unfortunately, it is going elsewhere in the company, so we don't get to keep it!!!

How can I convince the higher-ups that G5s are essential for future expansion...??
Think, man, THINK!!!

Political Rant Pending...

I'm feeling very politically opinionated this morning. Have just heard of the hooplah surrounding the new Michael Moore "Documentary" called Fahrenheit 9/11 and it sickens me. It's made millions already. Don't be fooled into paying to see this movie!!! If you are a Conservative, or a supporter of Bush, don't PAY to see it!! See it for free, if you must see it, and that way you can truthfully say you have seen it and can have a valid argument with a liberal as to the fallacies of this piece of one-sided, liberal, hypocritical, slanderous propaganda. Originally, this spazoid Moore claimed he had no political intentions for making this propaganda piece, but he has since changed his tune. He hopes this will have dramatic effect in overthrowing Bush in the next election. You can bet now that this drivel is squarely aimed at presenting the "truth" in a manner that is only benefiting his cause, which is denouncement. Let the liberals suffer another 4 years like the rest of America suffered when the Clinton circus' cranked out 8 years of Presidential butchery. I lost a lot of my respect for the office of President because of that clown. I am actually thankful that Moore made this thing. It solidified my desire to vote for the President, Mr. George W. Bush.

...end Rant.

On a lighter note, it rained this weekend and I didn't even THINK about washing my car! This proves that I am not a rainmaker!!

Wilkommen Welcome!

Welcome to my blog, one of a gajillion bzillion on the net. What sets this one apart from the others? I am a different person. Funny how that works out, hunh? Here you will hear, or read, rather, my thoughts of any given situation or thing. Please don't take my opinions too seriously, but enjoy my ramblings. Take all you'll eat, but eat all you take. The sentence right before this one was a quote from a popular tv show. I will be doing that a lot here, since tv is a big influence on the way I live life and view the world. As a matter of fact, I will be going to a deserted island soon and a camera crew is following me for some reason. I have to survive using only my gut instinct, and some instructions written down by some girl who calls herself a "Script Supervisor", whatever that is. I will give you a heads up if I need to voice my serious opinions, along with an "end rant" to signify my steam has been vented. The internet is a tool created by Al Gore for the express purpose of spreading pornography to the eyes of the world. No, wait, the internet is for posting one's thoughts. Also for the viewing of funny home videos. Your comments about any given thought are more than welcome. Please keep comments free of any vulgarity. Questionable posts will be deleted. Thank you for your consideration.

p.s. I was only kidding about the deserted island thing. Don't even get me started on the Al Gore nonsense!
